DÜSSELDORF, Germany (August 19, 2016) – Crane ChemPharma & Energy today announced its participation at the European Bulk Liquid Storage 2016 in Tarragona, Spain, from September 07-08. This year, Crane will feature its DEPA® Fluid Level Control accessory that allows an autonomous on and off switching of the pump in response to the fluid liquid level in which its floater is suspended. This new product, in combination with full cast stainless steel pumps, is certified for use in Zone 0 gas environments and delivers superior resistance to corrosive chemicals, thus ensuring reduced maintenance and longer service life.

In addition to showcasing its DEPA® pumps and fluid level control, Crane’s Pumps Application Specialist Thomas Walbroehl will discuss “AODD Pumps in Liquid Tank Storage Farms” as part of the conference’s speaker series, September 07 at 14:30. During his presentation, Thomas Walbroehl will touch on the challenges of the application and how AODD pumps can serve as a solution to complex draining systems and critical installations throughout the plant.

“I’m very excited to present on the use of AODD pumps in liquid tank storage farms at the European Bulk Liquid Storage conference this year,” said Thomas Walbroehl. “The industry faces such stringent environmental controls for fluid management, residue water and spillages, and yet must combat the harsh demands of terminals worldwide while working to manage costs. AODD Pumps, especially DEPA®’s which is flexibly applicable, can serve as a viable replacement to some pump systems in place across multiple applications and can help address some of these concerns.”
