DUESSELDORF, Germany (January 30, 2014) – Crane ChemPharma & Energy is pleased to announce the launch of the DEPA DH® Next Generation Aluminium Housing Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps for use in industrial applications.
The distinctive design of this new line of pumps offers numerous benefits to users, including:
- Flexible Multi-port Connections: A customized manifold design improves ball valve guidance, increases functionality and provides up to 25 different installation options.
- Maintenance in Place (MIP): Cast feet integrated in the center block housing enable maintenance in place that can reduce downtime by up to 25%,* decrease the number of required parts by 30%* and eliminate the need to remove the pump for maintenance.
- Innovative Flange Design: “Block-mounted” pump and air chambers provide a safe and well-defined diaphragm clamping mechanism. The diaphragm is fixed to its specifications to provide consistent lifetime wear and tear and eliminate overstretching of the pump.
- High-efficiency: Flow design with Free Flow Path technology can accommodate particle sizes up to 25mm, increase the scope of applications and reduce the total cost of ownership through enhanced efficiency of up to 37%.*
“Industrial applications require reliable, versatile pump solutions that are safe and efficient from assembly to operation,” said Hans Ptak, Managing Director of Crane ChemPharma & Energy. “We developed this line of Next Generation DEPA DH Pumps in direct response to the voices of our customers, and are thrilled to launch a solution that solves the limitations of previous pump designs and will shape the future of the industry for years to come.”
