Dubai, United Arab Emirates (October 19, 2010) – CRANE Flow Solutions™, a leading global provider of highly engineered fluid handling solutions worldwide, recently announced its participation in ADIPEC 2010 (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference), November 1-4 (Stand #07040A). In addition to showcasing new products from the company’s ChemPharma and Energy Flow Solutions businesses, Crane will showcase the 2009 edition of its Technical Paper No. 410 (TP-410).
A technical resource for engineers, designers and engineering students, the TP-410 explains the flow of fluid through valves, pipes and fittings to aid in the appropriate selection of equipment for piping systems. Originally developed in 1942, the TP-410 has been updated several times, but the 2009 edition marks the introduction of a companion website containing a suite of web-based tools that solve equations found within the paper.
“Crane’s TP-410 has been a staple of the fluid handling industry for decades and it is important that we bring to the Middle East not only the educational aspects enclosed within, but also the related expertise from our employees,” said Mark Youssef, President of Crane Co. Middle East & Africa. “We are proud to demonstrate our continued partnership and dedication to growth in the region by participating in this year’s ADIPEC Oil & Gas Show. Crane’s presence in the Middle East since the 1930s has allowed us to contribute to that growth, and with the TP-410 we can further promote industry education here and in other emerging markets.
While Crane’s TP-410 is available for purchase online (http://www.flowoffluids.com/), several copies will be raffled off each day of ADIPEC at the CRANE Flow Solutions stand #07040A. In addition to the TP-410, CRANE Flow Solutions will showcase its new Xomox Lined Ball Valve XLB®, the Krombach Metal Seated Ball Valve, the new Saunders XA Diaphragm, the Pacific Pressure Seal Gate Valve, Duo-Chek Wafer Check Valve, Wedgeplug and Noz-Chek Nozzle Check Valve.
