Organized by the South Ghawar Producing Department, the aim of the forum was to encourage the use of non-metallic materials to reduce the cost and improve the performance of materials in highly-corrosive applications. Among the products featured at Crane\u2019s booth were Resistoflex\u00ae, Xomox\u00ae and Saunders\u00ae brand lined pipes and valves.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to the forum could also attend a presentation delivered by John Kalnins, Technical Service Manager for Resistoflex, entitled \u201cGenerational Advancements in Fluorpolymer Lined Piping Systems.\u201d As PTFE-lined piping is being used in increasingly-severe service applications, permeation problems are magnified, reducing piping service life.
